hey! for your first alpha I would do something simple, less than 16 base strings and only a couple colors! I'd recommend pattern #38852, or a simple name bracelet, you find youtube tutorials or use #9445 for reference! If you're feeling adventurous, #4847 is super cute and only has 2 colors!

my first alpha was a horrible name bracelet. just doing a word is pretty simple. i just did mak with a tri colour background. dont try any fancy stuff like flat alpha and straight edges unless you feel comfortable. a simple two colour heart is a good start too

I started with #25002 ! It's the little cherries pattern (only 2 colors besides the base) and I learned the flat alphas/straight edge technique on this bracelet! This was my first alpha in years and it turned out well, just make sure you take your time.

I started with a simple 2 color name bracelet so I could learn the color switch so I recommend doing a simple 2 color one

I am starting out with alpha bracelets too. I haven’t made it yet, but #16818 looks pretty easy

For your first alpha, I recommend something under 10 base strings and a pattern with only a couple colors so you get the hang of the basics. Hope this helps!
