Does anyone else have issues with their pattern being more elongated on the finished project than on the pattern?I'm just wondering if there are any tips on making a 3x3 knot space more of a square than a triangle. Everything I've been making is kind of wonky. |

yea, I have that problem too but it seems to happen less when you tie the knots tighter so they are more like a circle (or square) than like an oval (or rectangle)

I guess I'm just using a different kind of thread or tying it too tight, cos I had to tie them looser to get it to be less warped.

I've noticed sometimes when I try to keep all my knots really tight I end up making them tighter and tighter as I go, which can look sort of bad. Sometimes it can be better to not try and make them so tight cause then they can be a little warped, like you said LBeverly

you might just need to find a good tightness, too tight will make it warped but too loose will put holes in it.
