Try going on Patterns and sort by oldest. The oldest patterns are pretty beginner friendly. 🙂

The fishbone or distorted chevron are great choices and I believe there are video tutorials for both (Masha Knots)!! Additionally, you can try doing bracelets that are based on candy stripe bracelets but have images/themes to them. For example, there is an American Flag candy stripe, and an anchor candy stripe - lots to explore!! Hope this helps 😉

Braided stitch, refracted and distorted chevron, arrowhead, polka dot chevron (masha has tutorials for all of these) some pics that i have posted but forgot the names, and the pattern im working on right now is simple, and its in my profile. (These ones dont have a tutorial)
