Hii! I struggle keeping my strings organized when creating an eight string+ alpha pattern. My strings tangle up, I put them down to get something and they are all in a knot, you get the point. Any tips and/or tricks to keep them organized? ✨🌸🌷

Sometimes if you wrap it around a piece of cardboard or something it will help! Hope that helps! Good luck!

Hmm...maybe try to keep your leading string shorter/wrapped up more if that makes sense! Sorry! I wish I could help more!

what I do is I use a clipboard and some binder clips and when I'm not using a color I clip it to the side of the clipboard. I usually take a while to do an alpha and all the bobbins keep it binder clipped down, so it doesn't tangle.

Kanoodle you can buy some bobbins for like five bucks on amazon! i like to arrange/ organize them in rainbow order! i hoe this helps!

If you are talking about the base string, you can cut 8, or however many base strings you have, slots in cardboard, and then put the base strings through the slits. If you are talking about the leading string, then you can cut it off from the bobbin so it’s not too long, and when you run out of the string, just insert more. Sorry this was so long. @unicorns14 binder clips are these clips with, I guess the word is prongs where you can move them up to use to clip onto something, and then move the prongs down to hold. I clip the binder clips with the bobbins to my clipboard. I hope I clarified things for you 🙂

@KaNoodle how long are your base strings? If they're too long they will tangle really badly.

I use a piece of cardboard and cut slits in it. Then I put my strings in the slits.
