Can someone make a video tutorial on how to make normal patterns in the pattern generator? I have some ideas but typing them in confuses me so much and I have asked how to do it before and I just can't figure it out.

Hey, guess what, making a normal pattern can be challenging, trust me I know! Maybe you will have to build up your skill level a little more to understand better. But there are many great resources out there to help you! I sadly can't physically help but I can point you in the direction to getting the help you need! Thank you for the video reference! See I think I worded my question wrong, I understand how to make bracelets completely fine as I have been doing so for a few years, but I can't quite figure out how to put my designs into bracelet book because I am much more of a visual person so the letters are quite confusing for me.

In the tutorial section there's a tutorial on how to design normal patterns https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/34_designing-normal-patterns/ What I do is draw the design on graph paper like it's described in the tutorial. Once I know what knots I need I write them into the generator. You can also check out the reply I posted in this forum https://www.braceletbook.com/forum/4_generator/5956_coding-patterns/ If you look in the generator section of the forum you might find more answers |

I believe MashaKnots has been collaborating to build a new pattern generator, so hopefully, that will be out soon! In the meantime, practice makes perfect! Maybe try designing basic patterns like a chevron for practice, but don't submit it to the site. Hope this helps!! 😊
