I'm a newbie and have a few questions1. doesn't matter what material of string you use, like is there a difference between embroidery floss and craft chord 2. What is the best way to secure your bracelet to your surface 3. what's the difference between alphas and normals $. whats a good pattern to get started with 5. Are there any good bracelet YouTubers you'd like to recommend Thanks 🙂 |

1. yes there is a difference between between floss and cord. it’s mostly with how the bracelets looks like when it’s done.

2. the way you secure your bracelet is a personal preference but i use a clipboard and binder clip.

1. Craft cord is a bit thinner than embroidery floss. If you use both in a normal pattern, there isn't much of a difference. If you us both in a alpha pattern, it might come out wonky.2. Depends on preference. I tie my knots tight so I use a clipboard. Whenever I would use tape, it'd come right off. So if you tie your knots loose, use tape. If tie knots tight, use clipboard. You can also you a pillow and a safety pin. 3. You can segment knot normal. With alphas you have to do row by row. Alphas are pixel art. 4. #18 Is a really good pattern to start off with. 5. Masha knots has really good tutorials. She has a tutorial for the pattern #18. |
