how to know where to go with a pattern

so if i am doing a pattern and the full pattern is too short to make a full bracelet, how do i know where to go with the bracelet from there? sorry idk really know how to describe it, but the best example i can give is pattern #18 and how the pattern doesn't end how it starts. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance 🙂

with something like pattern #18 even though it doesn't quite end the way it started, after a while you can kind of pick up the pattern its following even if the colors are changing and just keep following that until you get your desired length. not sure if that makes sense lol sorry if it doesn't

also if the pattern repeats itself multiple times (like 18) you can try to find the part that gets cut off at the end of the pattern somewhere in the middle, sorry again if this doesn't make sense hahah

you just go back to the beginning of the pattern even if the colors switch as is the case in #18!
