There is a forum category on the bottom of the list called challenges! People post their challenges and how to do them there if you’d like to join them

Right now you are in the newbie section of the forum but if you go back out and scroll to the last category listed you’ll see a section labeled ‘challenges’ you enter by following the rules of the posted challenge you want to participate in.

Also, sometimes this is unclear but you upload the photo of your finished bracelet (with a little note on the photo labeling what challenge it is) to that pattern on bracelet book by clicking ‘+’ on the top right of the pattern. Follow what Margaron said above as well. Hope that helps!
