general length for normal bracelets?

How long does everyone make their bracelet when starting out? I want to make the arrowhead and polka dot chevron ones, but I’m not sure how long to make it. I know you need like an extra 15 cm for a loop. Thanks!!

I usually make mine the length of my wingspan, then add some, and fold it in half. So basically, one string is half of my wingspan if that makes sense

I usually make mine about 2 ft long so about 60 cm
