I am rn making an alpha and having lots of trouble with the first row because it is not straight and the connection between the right and left side is not neat. Plz help!

Try to use tape and gently tie the knots or you can make triangle ends but the rows usually even itself out either way

It will probably take a few rows for the lines to get straighter, but when my rows get uneven, sometimes I push the strings up with my fingernail to try and level it out. Hopefully that makes sense! If you need me to explain it with more depth, you can message me 🙂

Like everyone else said above, if you’re doing triangle ends, the rows will eventually straighten out after a couple rows. I also use the edge of a ruler to pushe them straight 👍🏼
