alpha base string problem

I accidentally added 1 too many base strings and am already 5 rows in. is there any way to fix it without having to undo it? the pattern is a little off but I would nt mind leaving it like this if I can continue correctly

I think the best thing to do is to try to modify the pattern so it works with 1 more base string. If you remove it, it will be visible because the top of the bracelet will be slightly wider than the bottom.If you don't mind it being slightly wonky, just knot over the final two base strings together with your working string for a few rows then cut one of them off. This will be secure and it won't come undone. |

Alpha patterns are easy to edit by taking rows out and stuff so I would try and add another row on the side of the background string, or if that’s not possible I would suggests starting over or undoing the knots
