how do you make double loops if your bracelet isn’t symmetrical? i watched masha knots video but it didn’t make sense.

i may be wrong, but i dont think its possible since the loop is created by knotting onto all your strings, then foldingsince the bracelet is folded, it doubles all your strings. therefore, if you had one color of one string it would turn into two. again, i could be wrong but i assume youre talking about when theres string of a color in a pattern! |

@angeldior i’m talking about making two loops when the bracelet isn’t the exact same on both sides of the bracelet.

Do you want to make a shaped start after the loops or just want to start in a straight line?I think it's common for a double loop to either have two triangles or two teardrop loops at the beginning. For two triangles you need to look for a M shape in your bracelet, for two teardrop loops you need to look for a W shape. You look at the strings you need on the left side and you look at the strings you need on the right side. You make two individual loops one with the strings on the left side one with the strings on the right side. If you know how to do a single loop you should be able to figure out how to do two. Maybe if you tell me which pattern you're working on I can help you figure out what would be the best way to start the loop. |
