Well it depends what your making. For alphas, probably 30 cm for the 2 ties plus how long your bracelet is gonna be. For normals if you a loop I usually do my finger tips to the middle of my chest and if I’m making a loop I’ll double that. But if your pattern isn’t making a lot of knots of one color you can cut less. Also you should save you scraps because they can come in handy in alphas or rag rug bracelets.

i do wingspan and then fold it in half for the normal ones
