ok i need help. i’m trying to start my bracelet for the first time with triangle start/ends. idk how to do it. in watching masha knots. but my pattern isn’t a mirror so can i still start it that way?

You can but the triangle will be a little lopsided

you can start any pattern with a triangle end. because your pattern doesn’t mirror itself, i would recommend printing out the pattern and drawing in a triangle indicated where you want to start knotting so you can see where the bits that stick out are. which pattern are you making? i can give a more specific answer on how you can make a triangle end if i know which pattern you are doing

i would say start at line eight. on the left side of the triangle you’d have one blue string and then the rest black strings and on the other side you’d have the rest of your colored strings. if you’re still confused let me know!

you could also do just one side of the triangle so it's more of a line start than a triangle start? masha did that for her chain-link candy stripe a while ago
