You can also participate in chat, post on the forums, post pictures of patterns. As long as you regularly participate on the site, you'll level up.

I agree with SBilbrey. You get privileges when you level up. When you get to newbie++, you can chat, post on forums, comment and message. The higher rank you are, the more messages you can send per day. Hope this helped.😉

I've rated and commented on loaaaads of patterns and I've added 2 patterns and keep posting of ones I've already made but I'm stick at newbie++ and have been for aaaaaaaages

@moonchild Keep participating in the forum, and add friends. Send out friend requests and accept the ones you get. That seems to prove that you use the social aspects of the site. I leveled up a lot quicker after I started adding friends and posting in the forum. But the wait between Newbie++ and Skiller is the biggest gap in ranks. So it takes a lot longer for a Newbie++ to level up. Hope that helps!

@moonchild you are getting your rank up by collection points, you get the smallest number of points by just visiting the site, commenting also give you a tiny bit of points, but adding patterns or photos give you a lot more points then commenting, thats why you can get your rank up really fast by doing bracelets and patterns.

@mgs905 ya you have to be at advanced rank or higher to add friends, though I’m pretty sure you can still accept the friend requests

@PeachyGirl you have to be advanced to send a friend request. but once you are able to, go to the user’s profile and click the orange button labelled “add as friend.” you can still accept friend requests from other users. i’ll go ahead and send you a friend request 🙂

@maddie28 if you click on your profile pic, it will take you to your own profile and under your name it will say your rank. i just checked your profile and it says that you’re beginner. so to rank up be active on bracelet book. that means posting patterns, posting photos, posting variations, writing in the forum, etc. as long as you are consistently active you will rank up quickly! 🙂

When you click on a pattern, there will be a plus arrow in the corner. This is where you can add a picture of your bracelet. I hope this helps!
