Hi everyone, I’m going to try and explain my problem as best I can. At the start of a bracelet, I made a knot, and after that I want to do a twisted tie, and then after that I want to do a triangle end. How would I secure the twisted tie so that I can make a triangle? Or how would I make a triangle end after a knot? Please help! Thanks x |

I think you leave about 7 inches on top for the twisted ties, do the triangle ends, THEN do the twisted ties so that you dont have to make a knot 😊

@Shelly2121 OMG! You are a lifesaver. However I do have one more question, would I just leave a few inches, and then just start making the end or whattt? Like how would I make a triangle end without the 'support' of a knot or tie?

@Shelly2121 I mean, how would the knots that you use to make the triangle end knot rise as you pull them since there would be no knot to support them

You basically clip or tape the strings where the knot would be so that the knots stay there, then do the twisted ries.

I usually tie a knot with all my strings and leave some extra string for the ties. I use a clip board and the knot helps it stay in place when I clip it down. Then I do my triangle ends and then the rest of the bracelet. After I finish knotting the bracelet I untie the knot I did at the beginning, do my twisted ties and then secure them with another knot. I like doing the ties at the very end because it just feels like a nice end to working on a bracelet. |

you could just do a really loose overhand knot with all your strings and then undo it or tape it down
