You create patterns by clicking + create at the top right hand corner of your screen from the drop down that comes up when you click on your username. While alphas are the easiest pattern to create, they have a higher likelihood of getting declined. Normal patterns are, in my opinion, more difficult to create as you have to add in specific knot types (i.e. forward and backward).

@aob are you trying to use the app to create a pattern? They can only be made through the desktop website
