Hey friends! So I've just gotten back into bracelet making and I'm noticing an issue where my backward knots are significantly tighter than my forward knots. Any tips for how to adjust the tension to make them more even? Thanks!

Well, basically just pay really close attention to each knot

the first half of the knot is how tight it will be and the second half secures it so i would try and make the tension between both knots on the bracelet the same.

well, you always have to remember the your first knot is the placement knot. so you wanna make sure that that knot is in the spot you want it to be in. also, once i finish the knot i pull on both strings so that they readjust and just look cleaner in my opinion!

@mallk10 i have had the same problem in the past! i found it was because i dominantly tie knots with my right hand, so i would be pulling my forward knots AND backward knots more to the right, which made my forward knots tighter and my backward knots looser. i fixed it by pulling more “upwards”
