keeping bracelets straight

ok so when i’m making any really basic kind of bracelet like candy stripe or anything with zig zags it doesn’t stay straight, how do i get it to? (sorry if somebody already asked this)

If you make sure to not pull your bracelet to either side it should be straighter. While knotting pull the string you're knotting onto straight down and not to the side. Especially with bracelets with lots of knots in one direction there's always the tendency of the bracelet curving into that direction. |

@emersonsk you could try taping the bracelet close to the bottom so it can’t move as much and then when you have tied more move the tape down so the bracelet doesn’t slip to either side. Hope this makes sense 🙂

Whenever I notice this happening while I’m still knotting, I try to pull and warp the bracelet toward the right direction to make it straighter. It’s usually the end strings that I pull taught as I knit into them to make sure everything is as straight as possible. My best advice is to try to straighten as you go. Hope this helped!
