How do I read the patterns?

I have a pattern picked out but I’m not really sure how to start the bracelet.

You can try a loop, knot or even key ring. There is lots of great ways to start your bracelet. As far as reading patterns, order your strings as the pattern says at the top of the pattern. From there, you can knot row by row or learn how to segment knot which (personally, I think) is a lot faster. If this is confusing, I recommend watching Masha knots on youtube, she has a lot of great tips and can help you get started. She is also a moderator here on bracelet book. If your still confused, you could even message a moderator directly through the site, and they would probably be a lot better at answering specific questions. I hope this was somewhat helpful. 😊 ❤️
