Hello everyone! I’ve been making a lot more bracelets since quarantine and I was thinking of making a Starburst-style bracelet for quite some time now. I’m familiar with the different knots and I use the segment knotting technique. The most strings I’ve ever used to make a bracelet is 16, but many starburst patterns use more than that. Here are the patterns I have in mind, in ascending order of strings: #34526, #32406, #32405, and #25054. Here is where I ask for a second opinion or some advice: should I try a smaller pattern and work my way up to the biggest pattern, or should I just go for it and take special care to keep track of so many strings? The bracelet-book community is so nice and supportive, and I hope you guys can help me out. I hope I’m not being a bother for asking. Thank you all for your time, and I hope you have a nice day 😊 |

if your looking for starbursts, they can range from 20-40 strings. the normal size is 36 but patterns #32406 is a 20 string and #32405 is a 22 string one. i would recommend pattern #28009 and although it has gaps in it, alex innovations has a tutorial and there are a ton of great colour combos u can use and easy to segment knot it.

Honestly I would go from large to small. Masha Knots has a normal 36 String tutorial. Hope this helps!
