It's kind of similar to adding a new leading string to alpha patterns. I'm going to try and explain it the best I can.First, finish your row of knots up to the base string that you want to replace. Then, place the string that you want to replace back so that it's out of the way (I would tape it to your surface so that it doesn't get in the way). Next, tape your new string to your surface and continue your row of knots onto the new base string. It will take one or two rows to make the new base string secure. Hopefully this isn't too confusing! If not, you should watch a video on how to add a new leading string into alphas, because it is pretty similar. |
