It’s basically knotting in a chevron or candy stripe way but with different patterns. But yea there’s a tutorial on it in the tutorials section

You can go to Masha Knot's Channel and look up how to read patterns. The tutorial and video are both very detailed.

so basically segment knotting is where you do your pattern in segments. usually, i work from the inside out and then from the outside back in. basically, i go until my strings no longer match up with the pattern. for example, if im making a square in my bracelet, i can’t do the whole outline because then there will be nowhere to make the inside square. think about it as what would you be cutting off if you did this segment? i hope this helps, but masha knots covers it pretty well in one of her videos and i’m sure there are plenty of more detailed tutorials on youtube or this app 🙂!

I knot one colour for as long as I can until there are no longer the knot that are supposed to be above it. Then I move to the colour of the knot that should’ve been above the previous colour. Hope that makes some sense 🙂

a tip for segment knotting is to print the pattern out and circle each section and number them, that's how i segment knot at least 🙂
