How do you make knotted ends on an alpha?

Hello! I cannot for the life of me, find a tutorial on how to make knotted ends. If you don’t know what I mean this may help: To make a teardrop loop on an alpha you have to make normal pattern knots to begin the bracelets and I don’t know how to do it on the ends.I hope that clears it up. And I have already checked Masha’s channel. If you know of anything that could help please tell me! To say I am in desperate need, is a total understatement 🤣🤣 Thank you! |

Hi! I am very sorry if this doesn’t make sense, however I will try my best. So for example, for pattern #28009 , you would finish doing the chevron parts first. After you finish that, you would take string D and string E (because they are right next to each other). You would then do a backward knot with string E onto string D. After, you would take string F and do a backward knot onto BOTH strings D and E. You would continue doing that until you have run out of strings ON THE LEFT SIDE. For the right side, it’s pretty much the same thing, however you would do forward knots instead of backward knots. When you finish doing that on both sides, you could either braid the two ends (my personal favorite) or you could do twisted ties. I hope this helps!!

@Artsy_Lobo If I understand correctly( I might be so wrong I’m so sorry if I am ) but you would separate you base strings into sets of two make f knots on them then take the strings that are the furthest on each side and move them aside then take the remaining strings and separate them into sets of two and make f knots repeat that until there’s one knot at the bottom and finish with triangle ends if you wish and finally your ties ( I don’t know how to put the leading string in I’m so sorry ) I hope that made sense if I’m wrong please correct me hope this helps if you have any other questions feel free to message me
