hi, I just started making alphas but I'm not sure how to properly start them, can I just use like a normal teardrop loop or does it have to be an alpha one?

@xojenz personally when starting alphas, i either start in a straight line for bracelets, but i make my alphas into keychains so i do a loop with triangle ends coming off which is similar to a teardrop loop. i do not like how alpha triangle ends look so i use normal triangle ends, however you have to make sure that when you come to starting the alpha after the triangle ends that its in a straight line 😊

I highly recommend looking up Masha Knots on YouTube. She has a ton of great tutorials including ways to start alphas. 🙂

There are some great tutorials that Masha Knots has. Also, some people on Instagram have videos on how to start theirs alphas. I learned how to make triangle ends coming off the loop in an alpha by braceletsbyteri on Instagram. Hope that helps ❤️
