hi! i’ve been really active here. i have made 4 patterns (two were variations), uploaded a lot of pictures, saved a lot (100+) patterns to my to do list, answered a lot of questions in the forums, asked questions in the forums, but my rank hasn’t changed since when i first got it. i first got it about a month or two ago (i think). is there something i’m missing?

Based on what I can see, your profile says you are advanced! It does take quite a bit of time and effort to rank up, but ultimately the goal is to have fun and make bracelets! I wouldn’t worry too much about your rank🙂

my advice is just keep being active! i promise you will rank up eventually. it does take time but you will rank up faster the more active you are. it took a long time for me to get from advanced to skiller but after that it took me about two months to finally get to bracelet king. i don’t believe you are missing anything,just keep being active!🙂

After you level up, it becomes harder to level up each time. If you keep adding photos, patterns, and friends, you will eventually level up! 😊

the rank system does value certain contributions more than others. adding new patterns is worth more than variations, which is more than adding photos etc. basically the more effort you have to put in, the more it goes towards your rank

@arf820 thank for the advice but do you know any other ways to change it? Ive been making bracelets since 2015 and my ranking is beginner. I dont want to seem like a noob.. any more advice

@LydiaH rankings are not necessarily representative of your experience as a bracelet maker. you can’t manually change your ranking but by being active on bracelet book, your ranking will go up. ranks are based on a point system, where posting patterns and variations, posting pictures, commenting on patterns and forums, rating patterns, friending people, etc are all worth a certain amount of points (i do not know how much each is worth). don’t worry the more you’re active on bracelet book, the faster you’ll rank up!

there are five ranks: beginner, advanced, skiller, professional, and bracelet king. the time it takes really depends on how much you do and how much you used bracelet book. it takes some people months, some people weeks, some people days...
