If your new to bracelets, I would recommend starting with normal patterns. If you can’t read them and don’t understand, MashaKnots has great videos on YouTube for beginners so I would start there

I recommend you start with basics! go watch MashaKnots "how to read patterns" and "basic knots" if you're not familliar with backwards, forward etc knots. Have you done any type of friendship bracelets before?

I never did the ones from this website, but when I was 10 y/o I made my own kind of bracelets... I had 4 strings and then I made knots with the string most left... i dont know if you get it but yea...

If you have already "mastered" the candy stripe and chevron I would start with something like #17977 or #17879

If you have absolutely never done a bracelet, try a Chinese staircase, but after that definitely #1 and #2 are the place to start. After that, the Peruvian wave, heart bracelet, and leaf bracelet (all have tutorials on YouTube, to find the patterns themselves, put those names into keywords and organize by photo). For a first alpha I would suggest a name bracelet, or any other two color bracelet. 😊

By the way, heart is #150, Peruvian wave is #14715, #14801 is the leaf bracelet, and I also suggest any kind of basic diamond bracelet, and the braided stitch (#273/#117) 😊

It's not necessarily harder to make alphas, but it is a completely different technique than making normal patterns. Masha Knots has really great tutorials for beginners!

Alphas are time consuming. I’d reccomend to watch masha knots tutorial on alphas. Once you do that find an alpha pattern with 4-8 strings and try that as your first alpha.

I already can do #34710 because that's what I always did when I was 10...
