I’m just wondering how long people typically make their base strings for their alphas. I’d like to make an alpha bracelet using triangle ends and I’m not sure how long to make the base strings. Thanks for reading!

You should probably make them long, I’ve on,y made a few alphas and I’ve needed more string for triangle ends. I would say about 2ft maybe even longer than that. It would also depend on how big and long the pattern is.

Ok I see now! If you also want to save string I recommend the less of the background (blue color) so maybe cropping out some blocks in the background. Whatever floats your boat!!
