some great patterns for beginners are # 16 and #2146 . I taught my friends to make #16, and before the the only other thing i taught them was the Chevron. They did good on that bracelet, and its a great 2nd pattern to make. Then i would recommend making the other pattern I mentioned. (#2146 ). Hope these help! 🙂

I would do the arrowhead or the dovetail. They both have some tutorials on Youtube that you can watch if you are stuck and are pretty easy.

After chevron, I learned a bordered chevron . So the same as a normal chevron, but with a forward backward knot on the leftmost side and a backward forward knot on the rightmost (idk if there is a pattern for it on bb

@EllaG the arrow head (#18) is a good beginner pattern and so are variations of the chevron such as half and half chevron, refracted chevron and distorted chevron which masha knots has tutorials on. You could also try fishbone candy stripe and the fishbone chevron and masha knots has a tutorial on both of those ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'd recommend #17259, it's easy but challenging enough for a beginner.

Try a braided stitch! These only consist of backward and forward knots. You can also try a heart bracelet after that. These consist of backward, forward, backward forward, and forward backward, but still really simple. These are identical to chevrons, so if you're good at those, then try it out! MashaKnots has a really easy-to-understand video on this bracelet. 👍

Or and XOXO bracelet or heart bracelet. Definately not a 1212 pattern!
