If you've never made an alpha before, doing letter bracelets would be a good place to start. I know the youtuber BeyondBracelets has some videos on that, along with how to read the patterns. For colored bracelets, #25504 is a cute, thinner pattern.

Letter bracelets are great for beginner alphas because you only need base strings and 1 color. Friendshipbracelets.net has a super simple name pattern generator.
