Anchor Threads?

Does anyone know where can I purchase Anchor Threads online?Is EverythingCrossStitch.com a reputable site? I don't think Anchor Threads are available in the US, so online is probably the only way I can purchase them. I'd like to pick out individual colors like I can with DMC. Does anyone have any information about this? I can't seem to order anything directly from Anchorcrafts.com. |

@Tikilishi im not from the US but i think you can get it in micheals or most craft stores. you can also purchase thread from amazon in bulk packs which i have had no problem with but i haven't seen any anchor thread exept for black and white packs (just because i haven't looked) but i am sure you can find them. if not you could probably find brands such as DMC and loops and threads online. 😊

Is Loops and Threads a good brand? I've yet to try that one lol.I should've titled this thread "favorite brand of thread" instead of just Anchor because I'm curious about all the brands lol 😂 I just figured Anchor isn't available in the US at any retail stores, because on their website, I used their store locator to try and find a place that sells them and nothing came up, not even near major cities/populated areas, or places that I know have a Michael's, Joanne Fabrics, or Hobby Lobby. But when I chose a random city in Germany, Italy, and Spain, 3-5 retail stores popped up lol. I recieved my order from EverythingCrossStitch.com and I love the quality of Anchor. They're thick and seem to not unravel easily. Only thing is some of the colors weren't quite the same as they looked in the pictures. Like most of the colors matched up except for the orange threads I ordered, they came looking much lighter and much more pinkish. And also they removed black from my order because they ran out. As much as I love Anchor, the shipping was an extra $10 so it was kind of an expensive order lol. All I've ever used was DMC, so it's interesting making comparisions! The bracelets witch Anchor seem to come out much thicker and larger and the thread doesn't fray. I also tried J&P Coats again and so far I think they're also better than DMC because they also fray much less and are a bit thicker, though not quite as thick as Anchor. But I still love DMC because they just seem to have sooo many nice colors to chose from! |

loops and threads is a really good brand. i have 2 of their boxes that i keep my string in and i have a lot of string from them. it’s very durable and very high quality. 10/10 amazing brand.
