Everytime I make an alpha, I use the flat alpha technique but it turns out a little bumpy still. Is it my string?

It might be because the strings are a different thickness or because you pull the knots different

@Katelyn_04 But my thread is from the same company. 🤔 Maybe it's me knots, thanks! ❤️ 🙂

If it’s not good quality thread even if it’s from the same company it can mess with the outcome of your bracelet as some string will not be quite even in thickness throughout. I’ve found that this seems to effect the flat alpha technique quite significantly myself.

It depends on what type of thread you use.

@chloe_27: I’ve tried many brands and have found that DMC continued to be the best. They sell them in packs or in singular at Walmart!
