every time i make a bracelet my knots are very spaced out and you can see all the other strings pls help

@joshyboi7 try making the first half of your knot tighter and make sure it is as far up between the knots above it as possible. Hope this helps

I agree with @taelor, remember that the first half of the knot places where the knot is gonna go the second half secures the knot.

I find that the tighter you knot the less space between knots there are. It took time for me to get the right amount of tension so definitely be patient. It's all trial and error.

Something that helped me when I started making bracelets was after I tied the knot I would try and push the knot up with my nails to try and get it as close to the row above (:

Yes! Since every knot (f, b, fb, and bf) is a double knot, make the first knot of the two a bit tighter. Just don't pull it super hard like the hulk so that it breaks, lol, but pull it taunt enough so that it makes your knots closer together. 😄

Push your knots all the way up against the other knots, at first you might have to push it up after you make it but it will get easier
