When a regular pattern has let’s say 8 rows but I want to make 16 rows do I just reread pattern over again and repeat those steps?

Yes, you just repeat over and over again. If you easily get lost, I recommend to screenshot your pattern and double it (copy this pattern and paste it under last strings, if your colours change, then I recommend to change them, too) or write down what row you are doing at the moment 😇
