base string on alpha too short

hi! i made an alpha and one of the base strings is really short. im almost done so its too short too finish and i dont want to throw it away. what could i do?

There's a few ways you could do it, the method I prefer is to get a new piece of string tape it directly under the base string that is too short; when you come to a point where you need to make a knot over the short base string, make it over both the string you just taped and the short string. Do a few rows (at least three) like this (if you can), once you've done that you can fold the shorter string behind the bracelet and continue with the new string as the base string. At the end of the bracelet you can simply cut the tail off (like you would regularly) and if you want you could add a bit of glue just to hold it (you don't have to, but some people do this). 🙂
