Haha hi! Still kind of new to making bracelets so I have some dumb questions. 🙂1. How long do you make your bracelets (not including the ties)? 2. Are you able to send bracelets through the mail in a regular envelope or do you have to use a bubble mailer? 3. Favorite brand of thread? I've only used DMC embroidery floss and a generic kind from walmart (that snaps so easily!) so I'm looking for more brands. |

No question is dumb!!😁 these are all legit if you are starting out making bracelets! 1. I make my bracelets 5 inches exactly because I sell them and 5” is big enough for small enough for almost anyone. 2. You can send them in the envelope, it may cost a few cents more I’m not sure. 3. I like DMC, prism and I also like to use lion heart brand bon bons, because some packs of that have yarn that is threaded with metallic string as well and it’s a pretty thin yarn, I have never had problems with it, I just like to tie a tiny knot at either end of it to make sure that the metallic thread doesn’t separate from the rest. I really hope this helps you!!👍😁

I was able to send a few bracelets plus a letter in just a normal envelope with no problem!

The first two have been answered as I would answer them, for question number three though; as well as DMC I really like Anchor, it is quite similar to DMC and it is also slightly cheaper. Another brand I use is MoonBrand. 🙂

I think for beginners you should sort off my getting a set of 50-100 varieties of floss and let your creativity take over and then you can make changes to your collection accordingly.

@vboggala if you’re on the app, go to tour todos and click on the little pencil in the upper right corner, then select what you want to delete and press the trash can!

1. Until it touches around my wrist. 2. I recommend bubble mailer but an envelope works, just don’t fold it over or anything, leave it flat. 3. Unnamed amazon thread lol

My absolute favorite brand of thread is probably a no name brand from Amazon. I'm almost sure the link below is the brand. ALMOST sure. It's soft, and doesn't break. But, I must have gotten a smaller pack, because I don't have much of this brand. https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Rainbow-Color-Embroidery-Floss/dp/B07FXCY4K7/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2EFCW59UYMG9K&dchild=1&keywords=embroidery+thread&qid=1588031377&sprefix=embroider%2Caps%2C164&sr=8-8 |
