Howdy! First I'll link a tutorial to Masha Knots triangle ends video in case you'd like to use it as a reference: https://youtu.be/05sDSDDr5rMWhat you're basically doing is doing a row by row method in the shape of a triangle. You'll look at your pattern, then draw a triangle at a place you think will look nice. It may help to print out the pattern and physically draw a triangle on it that you want. Then separate the strands in half. If your first knot at the top of your triangle is blue for example, you'll take a blue string from the left half of your bracelet and do a forward knot over the strings to bring it into the center. Then you'll do a backward knot from a blue string on the right half of your bracelet to bring that string into the center. You'll then do a knot between your blue strings to create your blue knot. Then you'll do row 2, follow your pattern by looking at what knots are in a row in your triangle. You'll repeat this process for as wide as you need to for your pattern. each time you'll take the string you need from the left, do a forward knot on all unused strings. Then take a string you need from the right and do a backwards knot on all the unused strings, then pair the strings needed as if you were doing row by row knotting doing only the knots that fall into your triangle. Let me know if you have any additional questions and I'll do my best to help! |
