no matter all the vids I watch I cant segment knot. Help!

What exactly do you struggle with when trying to segment knot?My recommendation is to start out with simple patterns like #1 or #2. Most people segment knot them anyways without really knowing that they are doing it. If you done them you most likely already segment knotted. When you segment knot you knot in diagonals instead of row by row. That has the advantage that you are able to knot faster because you only need to crab one new string instead of two. |

@halokiwi an example is your peach pattern. I did one row by row and one segment knotting. It took me 5 days to complete 4 peaches (row by row) and a day to make seven peaches (segment knotting)

well, basically segment noting is finding spots in in patterns that you can knot easily. for example, in the chevron pattern, you would knot in segments, and no one makes a chevron row by row. this is because its much eaisier to knot like that because all the knots are grouped up, and when you look at the pattern you can clearly see the segments, so you do those first. Im sorry if im not being clear
