When you add the extra strings at the side for the straight edges technique, will those strings be used when making the triangle/shaped starts or will it be left out? Hope this makes sense!

Idk if this makes sense but yes, it is the string you don't make any knots on other strings with. It's like the last string of the triangle. But you don't make knot with it on the inside of the triangle. It's always inside the edge of the triangle. I've also got a recommendation for you. Instead of doing f and b knots at the edge of your triangle end already start with fb and bf knots. |
