How do I know how many of each colour are in the pattern?

There is a little paint roller on the top of the pattern page with a number under it. That number is the number of colors there are in a pattern. Hope this helps!😊

You look at the top of the pattern. You count the strings of each individual colour that stick out to the top.

Like @afc610 says you can also see how many colours there are in general. You can also see the total amount of strings. You can use these two things to help you make sure you counted right.
