When you make an alpha and it says you need 20 strings you actually need 19 base strings they count the background string as one of your base strings if you have any questions ask here

That's a good Informationen actually. Many people seem to be confused about that. Another trick would be to look at the dimensions and see how many knots there are in a row. That tells you how many basestrings there are too.

@ZeldaSky I'd recommend patterns that use no more than 12 base strings and that use two colours, so something like #27155 for example. When you go to the 'Patterns' section, you can filter out patterns like that and see if there's anything you like. |
