Help I'm in backwards land

I've been making bracelets for probably 30 some years. Unfortunately, when the person taught me I was taught to flip the entire bracelet over whenever I had to make any backward knots. I've never used patterns so it's really neat to see things on paper that I've only worked out in my head. But if anyone has any suggestions to help me with my issue I would be grateful.

Well a backward knot is just a knot backwards, it’s that simple, so in your head just tell yourself that and not to flip the bracelets over, you never flip them over unless you’re making the flip flop candy stripe

For a backwards knot you basically mirror the forwards knot. You do everything the same but in the opposite direction. I believe in the tutorial sec there's also an explanation of different knots.

@kamikitten I was always taught that forward knots look like the number 4 when you loop your string around, and backward knots make a backward 4. If you go to any pattern page, there are 2 video tutorial links right at the top the pattern diagram. "how to make knots" and "how to make patterns"

Another thing some people like to do is make the forward knots with their right hand, and backward knots with their left hand. But like what was previously said, there are tutorials here on BB that can help you so you learn all the knots you need to know. |

You could try watching a YouTube video on how to make backward knots. I know Masha Knots has a great tutorial on how to make all the basic knots.
