I was working on one of my bracelets and one of the strings for my straight edge technique snapped. I searched up videos on Youtube and noticed the only strings you can replace are the ones that are making knots. The strings that I need to replace aren't the ones getting knotted. Does anyone know how I can replace the string?

If it isn’t too short you could tie it back together, if it is long enough you could glue it back on since you are only knotting onto the string, it won’t make any other strings sticky because it is always on the edge, I hope this helped a little 🙂

Alternatively, you could cut another string and tape it at the back. For the next knot use both strings, long and short (make sure that the short string is below the old one so that you can tape it after making the knot) You may have to pull and push and twist the strings a little bit so they sit right. After that you can just continue knotting with the new string. The knot made with both strings may be a little bit thicker than the rest but you can pull that tight so both it isn't noticeable and it sets the new string in place firmly.
