Do you ever just start a pattern and realize you HATE IT how do you get rid of the string ? I don’t know what to do with it and it breaks me to waste string

There is a type of bracelet you can make that recycles your string called the rag rug bracelet. There are tutorial on YouTube, but you need lots of scraps for that.

You can save your scraps for alphas bracelets, like if you only need one know of a color.

I used to do this a lot when starting out. All I did was cut what I did off and save the string, or if I didn't do much of it I'd unpick it and again save the string for another bracelet.

If there’s a lot of string left over then you can always use the string to make a keychain since they are a lot shorted than an average bracelet length

There’s so many options to reuse strings! You can make a keychain if the strings are still on the longer side, use them in an alpha, or make a rag rug bracelet with them!! No need to waste strings because there’s plenty of ways to reuse

I use a couple different methods. You can make a rag rug bracelet. There are a bunch of tutorials on youtube. You could also save it, so if one of your strings snap, you can replace the string with the recycled one. You could make many small crafts, or even use the string in a different bracelet.

I keep all of my scraps for rag-rug keychains, instead of bracelets. And if the string is still long enough, I keep it for another bracelet
