I think you'll be back to the original order of the strings once you did the pattern twice. Until then you just continue knotting like the pattern says and ignore the colours.

Yes the pattern will eventually repeat the colors, but basically do what @Someone_ said. 🙂

Yes, like an arrowhead, you repeat the pattern even though they are not in the same order as before. This is perfectly normal so don’t be scared. There are a lot more patterns like this so keep an arrowhead in mind when this happens. Good luck!
