Triangle Start with Chevron Pattern

Hi, I am trying to do a triangle start while making a chevron. I have tried 2 different tutorials and it's not making sense. I don't understand which order to knot the strings in so that the triangle forms, and then I can just do left knots, right knots, then center and repeat. I just want the chevron to look polished, instead of just doing a knot at the beginning. thanks, meg |
