This is really random but I’ve been on this website for a while and when i started making bracelets i would fold the string over and use 2 strings as if they were one. It cuts bracelet making time in half but I’m doing more complicated patterns now and i just want to check… it’s not normal to use 2 strings as one for patterns on here right?? I should only be using one?? I know this was a confusing message but if you get what i mean then HELP!!! Please!!!!!! Thank you!

you mean if you have only one blue string you cut two and make a knot with the two in other two strings?
you can chose how to make the patterns if you like it like that it's totally its a cool idea that i am going to try!
if a lot of people make it one way but you like to make it other way you are free to chose❤️ i hope i could help!! 😊 ❤️

Typically only one string is used per string in the pattern, but for loops it is common to fold strings in half. If your pattern calls for two red strings and you want to make a loop, you would only cut one red string and fold it in half.

@emo_reader sorry I’m a little late! I do this too! It also works for alpha patterns for the base strings if you’re making a wall hanging or keychain because of larks head knots. You can also make loops or shaped ends on alphas. If you’re unsure of how to make a loop you can just fold your strings in half and make a knot at the top which leaves a loose loop behind. Teardrop loops look a lot cleaner in my opinion but it all depends on your skill level!
