Bought a package of Big Twist Thread from Joann Fabric. Friendship wheels were included but no instructions. Two of the wheels show that all “petals” should be threaded. How do I weave if there are no empty petals? All I have found on the internet shows wheels with blank petals throughout the wheel. Thanks.

Look for "kumihimo". You should find a bunch of instructions. It seems like the friendship wheel is a kumihimo disk. On that disk there seem to be colourful "petals" that show the starting set-up for the strings. |

Can you maybe set a picture of the wheel as your profile picture temporarily. I can't imagine that all the slots are supposed to be threaded. There always need to be empty slots.
