Sometimes my knots end up spaced out (this is on normal patterns not alphas) and I was wondering if it was a tension problem or something else like segment knotting because I’m trying to tie tighter consistently. Also how do you add patterns to your loves because I can’t see the option. Do I need a higher rank or?

it might be the tightness of your knots. the first half of the knot determines the placement on the other string, while the second one determines the tightness (correct me if i’m wrong). maybe try pulling the first half a little tighter?

and to answer your other question, the app doesn’t have the loves feature. it’s designed as an on-the-go version, so it’s limited

@leviOsa_09 you're right; the first half-hitch knot determines the position of the overall knot in the bracelet. So yeah; make sure the first half hitch knot is where you want to be before you secure it with the second. 🙂 Also, watch the direction you pull your string when you are knotting; you can still wind up pulling a. knot out of position if you pull too much in a direction away from where you want the knot to be.
