I always frig up my wall hangings in within the first row. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep those first few rows even and not lopsided, or is it just going to take practice?

After looping my strings to my dowel I start the first row of the whatever alpha pattern I’m using. I’m wondering if maybe the lark head knots need to be spaced out more on the dowel

usually when i make a wall hanging i space my larks head knots approximately 2-3 millimeters apart, though it doesn't really matter, as long as they are not to far apart, you could probably find a video on youtube if you need a visual representationhope this helps ❤️ |
